This DDPai M5S is a unique dashcam and Carplay monitor in one. Connect your smartphone to the DDPai M5S to activate Apple and Android Car. This makes navigating and playing your media a breeze. The large and bright 8.9-inch touchscreen LCD screen is easy to operate. On the back, the DDPai M5S has a 2K dashcam so that all your drives are also captured.
On one hand, this DDPai M5S is a high-quality dashcam with 2K resolution. It possesses almost all the features of a standard dashcam such as Loop recording and a G-sensor (vibration sensor). Due to the combination of these two, the M5S always continues filming even if the SD card is full. Important videos are saved securely using the vibration sensor so they cannot be deleted automatically.
Maybe the best thing about this DDPai M5S is the built-in Carplay system. Connect your smartphone to the M5S via Wifi to activate the Carplay system. In turn, connect the DDPai M5S via Bluetooth to your car's radio. After this, you are able to navigate via Google or Apple Maps and play music via Spotify. You can also use other Apps such as WhatsApp or Youtube, although we do not recommend using these while driving.
The DDPai M5S is easy to operate through its large and bright 8.9-inch touchscreen LCD screen. The screen has a resolution of 1980*720 pixels and 230 PPI (pixel density). The brightness is adjustable and you can also turn off the screen while driving if you wish. The dashcam will just continue filming.
You place the DDPai M5S on the dashboard with the sturdy and 360-degree rotatable holder. The holder is equipped with a double-sided adhesive and has a ball joint that allows you to rotate it in any direction.
The DDPai M5S connects with the included cigarette plug to the cigarette outlet in your car. It will hereby turn on and off with the ignition of the car, provided the cigarette outlet in your car does so.
As an alternative to the car charger, it is also possible to connect the M5S to the car's fuse box with the optional Continuous Power Supply (see accessories). With this connection, it is possible to use the parking mode of the DDPai M5S so that it can keep an eye on you when your car is parked.
In the DDPai M5S, SD cards of up to 256gb fit, which is good for about 24 hours of videos. This means that always the last 24 hours of rides remain stored on the SD card. Loop recording automatically deletes the oldest files and overwrites them for new videos.
