This DDPai Continuous power supply USB-C 3-wire is an intelligent power supply that allows the DDpai Mini 5, Z40, Z50 and N3 Pro dashcams, among others, to be used in parking mode. This continuous power supply can be connected to the car's fuse box to power the dashcam when the ignition is turned off. This allows the DDpai dashcams to be used in parking mode.
This DDpai continuous power supply features multiple built-in protections to protect both the dashcam and car. It has a low-voltage cut off system that cuts the power when the car's battery falls below 11.8V. It also has a protection that protects the dashcam when the power supply spikes. With this power supply it is also possible to have the dashcam turn off at 12.0V or 12.4V, this can be adjusted in the camera's App.
Because this DDpai power supply is connected to two different power points, the dashcam notices when the car ignition is turned on and off. As a result, it automatically goes into parking mode when the car's ignition is turned off and begins regular recording again when the car is started.
This power supply already includes a Mini/ATS fuse on both cables as standard. If your car uses this type of fuses and you have two free spots (continuous and switched) left you can simply place these fuses there. If your car does not have Mini fuses or if you do not have any suitable free spots, you will still have to use a fuse holder. You then cut the Mini fuses from the cable and place the stripped end in the casing of the fuse holder (see step 5 in the installation).
