Nordväl PMPC03 USB-C Continuous power supply for using your Nordväl DC202 in parking mode. This handy continuous power supply is specially designed to connect the dashcam in a professional way and to be able to use it in park mode.
This Nordväl PMPC03 power supply is a 3-wire 'hardwire kit' that connects to three points, preferably at the car's fuse box. The yellow cable is connected to a fuse which provides continuous current (also when the ignition is turned off), the red to a switched fuse (which only provides current when the ignition is turned on) and the black to ground. In this way the power supply sends a signal to the dashcam when the ignition is turned on and off so that the dashcam will automatically switch to parking mode.
The power supply has an adjustable cut-off voltage (11.6V to 12.2V) where the current is interrupted when the voltage of the battery becomes too low. This way you don't have to worry about ending up with an empty battery.
This Continuous power supply already includes a Mini/ATS fuse on both cables by default. If your car uses this type of fuses and you have two free spots (continuous and switched) left, you can simply place these fuses there. If your car does not have Mini fuses or if you do not have any suitable free spots, you will still have to use a fuse holder. You then cut the Mini fuses from the cable and place the stripped end in the shell of the fuse holder (see step 5 of the installation).
