This Motocam E7 Wifi Vsysto is a beautiful mid-range motorcycle dashcam with Night vision image on the front and Wifi to easily exchange images wirelessly. Due to the Sony Starvis sensor in the front camera, the images in the dark are razor-sharp and with a lot of detail. This Motor dashcam can be mounted on the motorcycle at almost any location.

SONY Starvis sensor

The Motocam E7 Wifi Vsysto films with sharp 1080p 30fps resolution on the front with Night vision with the Sony Starvis sensor. The rear camera shoots at 720p in 30fps.

S.O.S. controller

The Motocam P6F Wifi comes with an easy to mount and use S.O.S. button. The button is connected to the module and placed on an easy to reach place like the steering wheel. One press on the button saves the current video as emergency file that cannot be erased.

IP68 waterproof cameras

Both cameras of the Motocam E7 Wifi Vsysto are IP68 waterproof and therefore resistant to the most extreme weather conditions.

Optional GPS

Motocam E7 Wifi has an optional GPS receiver (see accessories) in order to show the current speed in the video and to save all coördinates of your location. Later, the videos can be shown together with the GPS location in Google Maps using Motocam’s GPS player for Windows and Mac.

Optional waterproof case

With the optional waterproof case for this Motocam E7 Wifi you can place the module on the steering wheel. This way the menu can be accessed more easily and the current recordings can be seen on the LCD screen. The waterproof case comes with a mount for the steering wheel to make installation easy.

3.0 inch IPS LCD screen

The large 3.0 inch LCD screen makes accessing the menu very easy. On the screen you can of course also see what exactly is being filmed so that the dashcam can be easily adjusted. Please note that the module is not watertight and must therefore be placed inside the buddy seat (or any other waterproof location).

Wireless file transfer via WiFi

The Motocam E7 Wifi Dual 2CH is equipped with Wifi. This allows recorded images to be easily viewed and shared with any telephone or tablet. Via the easy to use App for Android and iOS, almost any phone and tablet can be connected to the dashcam.

140˚ + 140˚ wideview lens

Both the front and rear camera have a viewing angle of 140 degrees. As a result, a fairly large area is included around the engine without the image being distorted too much on the sides.

Super capacitor battery

The built-in super capacitor battery in the Motocam E7 Wifi Dual 2CH ensures that the camera can shut down safely and save the latest images after the engine is switched off or when the power is interrupted for other reasons. Moreover, super capacitors are generally a lot more durable than batteries or accumulators when used in dashcams.

Hardwire connection

Because the Motocam E7 Wifi Dual 2CH comes standard with a hardwire cable, the dashcam can be easily connected to the motorcycle's battery. The inverter in the power supply converts the current from 12v to the required 5v.

Auto start

The Motocam E7 Wifi Dual 2CH dashcam automatically starts recording when the engine is started and stops filming when it is turned off.

128 GB support

The Motocam E7 Wifi Dual 2CH supports MicroSD cards up to 128 GB, with which you can record up to 32 hours in FullHD.

G-sensor

Due to the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you've had an accident. In case of an impact, the current video is safely stored so that it cannot be erased by the automatic Loop recording.

Built-in microphone

The Motocam E7 Wifi Dual 2CH has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can also be turned off if desired.

Date and time registration

The current time and date are always displayed so that it can later be shown at what time the relevant recordings were made.

The video quality of a dashcam is (partly) determined by the resolution and frames per second it records in. Most dashcams record from FullHD (1080p) up to 4K (3840p) with 30 or 60 frames per second. Most dashcams give you the option to set a lower resolution to save data on the SD card.
Video quality
1080p + 720p
The quality of videos during the night or in low light conditions. It is determined mostly by the image sensor being used, like Sony Starvis. Some dashcams also have infrared LEDs fitted, but they are mostly used for interior cameras on taxi dashcams.
Night vision
Excellent
Wifi gives you the option to view and download videos trough your smartphone or tablet without having to remove the SD card or dashcam from your car. A wifi dashcam will broadcast a wifi signal with which you can connect within a range of about 5 to 10 meters.

The front camera gives a reasonably good image. I find the rear very mediocre, but it is still just doable. Rear license plates are not legible as soon as there is movement, apparently bad sampling. The front gives a reasonably acceptable image, license plates are legible. Another major drawback of this Chinese manufacturer is that the device connects to a Chinese server via the internet. (api.baidu.com). This is the Chinese Google. It is definitely worth taking this spy software into account, especially with mobile data usage. I have blocked it with a firewall. Would I buy the camera again? I do not think so. I have had good experiences with VioFo, but it is a lot more expensive. Or an Inovv, which is also a lot more expensive. All in all, I like the camera itself, but probably go for a better brand next time.

Camera recently purchased and installed. All works well, the image also looks good with the motorcycle stationary. At higher speed and less light I don't know yet. A major disadvantage of the camera and perhaps also the other cameras that are equipped with WiFi is that a connection is made to a Chinese server:api.map.baidu.comIs something to keep an eye on. Looks like this is a Chinese version of Google to save locations? Possibly create a kind of track and trace database of locations in other countries? I have blocked this through firewall. If you don't know this can also lead to excessive data usage via mobile? Other than that it works well and satisfied so far.
