This Cellink Neo 5 4500mAh is the entry-level battery pack from Cellink. It is specially designed to use your dashcam's parking mode without draining the car's battery. The Neo5 has a capacity of 4500mAh and the slim design allows you to neatly hide it in almost any car.
The Cellink Neo 5 comes with all the necessary accessories to professionally install it and integrate it into the vehicle. The Cellink Neo 5 4500mAh is made of durable materials and has a sturdy aluminum housing that can withstand bumps and fluctuations in temperature. This Cellink Neo 5 is the universal alternative to the BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Battery B-124E and is made by the same manufacturer.
The advanced Cellink Neo 5 4500mAh can be connected directly to a switched fuse or other power point in the car so that it is only charged while driving. After switching off the ignition of the car (and thus interrupting the power supply to the Cellink), the Cellink will automatically supply the power to the dashcam together with a signal that the parking position can be activated on the dashcam. This way you don't have to worry about it at all.
A special 3-wire output cable is supplied with the Cellink Neo5 to transmit the signal to the dashcam. This cable connects your dashcam's 3-wire Continuous power supply (which you would normally connect to the car's fuse box).
Note: To use the parking position with a dashcam, the continuous power supply of the dashcam must be connected to the 3-wire output of the Cellink. When using the Plug&Play cigarette output, the parking mode will not work with most dashcams and the dashcam will continue to film until the Cellink is empty.
Exclusively at Dashcamdeal, the Cellink Neo 5 also comes standard with a cigarette charger and female cigarette plug so that the power bank can be connected and used very easily. Simply plug the supplied cigarette power input into the car and the cigarette power supply of the dashcam into the female output of the Cellink Neo 5. Please note that with this connection the automatic parking position via the 3-wire connection (parking position on contact) does not work. Only dashcams with visual automatic parking position can therefore be used in parking position with the Cellink Neo 6 Plug&Play method.
The Celllink Neo 5 is charged within 30 minutes while driving (with hardwire power supply) and then supplies power to the dashcam for up to 18 hours without further draining the car's battery. As soon as the Celllink is empty, the dashcam will switch off and will not load the car's battery any further.
* Usage time may vary greatly by dashcam model. Dashcams with multiple active functions (Cloud, GPS, etc.), higher resolution or multiple cameras consume more power and the operating time can then be reduced to about 6 hours.
